It is always great when family can join us.
Among the family joining us at the 2006
Montana State BBQ Championship were
Jean & Earl (Kay's parents) and Kim & Lori
(Kay's brother & sister-in-law).
It is always entertaining to spend time with
Dave from Carolina Smoke BBQ. Looks like
he is working on his pork butt.
Apparently Tim from Crackerjack BBQ
found an unusually large match and
intends on using it!
This is a full smoker as time gets closer to
turn-in times. The challenge is managing
the space and temps to get everything done
on time.
At some events we use a weber grill in
addition to the smoker. This is sausage
that first started in the smoker and is
being finished on the grill.
Rick is the other half of the Canadian team
Lucky BBQ. He and his cooking partner
Steve joined us at the Walla Walla Sweet
Onion Festival BBQ Competition. They
placed 3rd Overall.

Our brisket placed 3rd!
Our new custom built smoker. Chuck Senn did a
beautiful job on this rig.
Chad and Melinda (brother & sister) set up
next to us at the Molalla. It was fun to
spend the 4th of July with them.
